Dave Macklin has been in the Real Estate business since 1983, helping clients find their dream home. Dave is the Team Leader, working primarily to assist our Sellers and Landlords. Dave's knowledge of the market conditions and negotiating skills assure Sellers top dollar for their property with the minimum of disruption in their lives. Dave firmly believes that there is no substitute for education and continues to attend classes and seminars whenever possible. One of Daves greatest strengths is Active Listening, listening for both the spoken and unspoken meanings in statements and actions. This allows him to do a superior job of negotiating in his clients’ best interest.  Dave has obtained the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) and is an Associate Broker. Dave is married to Ruth Ann and has one son.

Denise Kimbrough has been in the Real Estate business since 1999.  She is one of our team agents, specializing in buyers & sellers of residential real estate.  For Denise, it is all about customer service where she always puts the client first.  She's energetic, friendly and has developed quite a knack for helping clients negotiate that win-win contract.

 Denise has obtained her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative), and ePro designations.  She is a Hampton Roads native and graduate of Old Dominion University.  Denise is the proud mother of two teenage children, Jarett and Chandler. Oops, let’s not forget the family beagle…Flash. Having been a military spouse she understands what it is like to be buying, selling and relocating.  Denise takes care of you, just like family!

Kim Acampora is The Butler Team's Client Care Coordinator.  Kim's primary job is to be certain that all members of The Butler Team:  Ruth Ann, Dave, Jamie, Denise and YOU stay completely informed and up to date.  She provides accurate and timely updates to our sellers and buyers.  Her constant communication with our clients ensures a seamless transaction.  Kim has been a licensed real estate agent since 2005; however, she has been in the real estate industry since 1999.  Growing up in a military household she understands what it is like to be relocating- be it across the globe or just across the street.  Working with Kim is always a pleasurable experience.
